THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LIGHTNING ROCK stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BEYOND THE RUNWAY (W Kennedy) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. b) In view of the performance of GALAXY RAIDERS (D De Gouveia), (distance 3,30 lengths, betting 10/3), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with AFLAME in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LIGHTNING ROCK, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 27 June 2021 to the 03 July 2021. LIGHTNING ROCK may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer E Verdonese was advised. e) MAMAQUERA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer E Verdonese advised (RS).
