THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, CARUSO (N Klink) was unruly, reared dislodging Apprentice Jacobs and bolted the course. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. b) PAITYNS PRIDE (M Yeni) was slow into stride. c) RED HOT (R Munger) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to CARUSO, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 7 July 2021 to 13 July 2021. CARUSO may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen advised (LAS). b) FROSTED ICE (N Klink) hung in from the 300m. c) MONASHADA (K Matsunyane) raced green. d) Jockey C Habib reported that TWICE AS WILD changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) Jockey S Khumalo reported that VELVET JET made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
