THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AFTER ME (*J R Syster) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) LESEDI (J Mariba) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) DANCING ARABIAN (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly before the finish line, MCKENNA SKYE (B Nyawo), which hung out, and LADY OF THE FLAME (C Habib) came together and brushed. b) Jockey J Mariba reported that LESEDI did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with PRETTIER IN PINK in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MCKENNA SKYE (B Nyawo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
