THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ABBEY WOOD (S Veale) and RISE (T Godden) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SUPREME WIN (*K Brewer) over-raced in the early stages. Thereafter, Apprentice K Brewer reported this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) ISLA MORADA (B Jacobson) was hanging out from the 300m. c) PARKDALE (A Arries) failed to adequately parade. Trainer N Kotzen was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. d) An Inquiry will be opened into Jockey S Moodley's (BASETSANA) crop use in this race. e) AQUAE SULIS (*T Gumede), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells advised (DA). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SLIEVANORRA raced without blinkers (advised 10.07.21/22h01). b) SUPREME WIN raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 02.07.21/10h39). c) ISLA MORADA was ridden by Jockey B Jacobson (advised 07.07.21/10h00) and this mare raced with a compression mask. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) SUPREME WIN : Abnormal respiratory noise and not striding out right hind and left hind. b) BASETSANA : Abnormal respiratory noise. c) O SOLE MIO : Abnormal respiratory noise.
