THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GAL GADOT (+G Dadamasi) and BLUSHING RED (+G Lahoud) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BURMESE TIARA (+S Mosia) struck a bird at the 500m. b) Work Rider T Matsoele reported PICK A LILY coughed post race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Work Rider D Botha reported that THE LEGENDARY LADY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Work Rider S Mosia reported that BURMESE TIARA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning STORMY WEATHERS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this mare is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer J Borman was advised. f) GAL GADOT (+G Dadamasi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S M Naidoo advised (DR). WORK RIDER CHANGES: None.
