THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KILEIGH'S FATE (*R Venniker) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, Apprentice M Katjedi (LAVU LAVU) dropped his right side rein and thereafter hung out to the outside of the course. b) Apprentice T Gumede reported that REAL ADVISOR took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Apprentice M Katjedi (LAVU LAVU) did not complete a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) Apprentice M Katjedi signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.3, in that as the rider of LAVU LAVU, he failed to ride his mount out to the end of the race, to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, thereby prejudicing his chances of obtaining third position. Accordingly, a penalty of a suspension for a period of 14 days, was imposed. (Suspension Dates : 26.07.21 - 08.08.21, bdi) e) BECKONING BEAUTY (*K Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L W Goosen advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SATARA Jockey J Samuel weighed out at 52.8kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight of 52kg. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
