Jockey Byleveld and Jockey Bogaleboile did not ride at today's race meeting due to being medically indisposed. The start of this Race was delayed due to COMET PATH proving difficult to load. COIN MISTRESS, SCOTTISH ALLY and RUSALKA were slow into stride. COMET PATH was stubborn loading and slow into stride. The starting stall certificate for this filly was withdrawn. Shortly after the start, SCOTTISH ALLY and RUSALKA, which was brushed in by QUEEN OF POP, came together and bumped. In view of the Starter's report with regard to COMET PATH, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading into the stalls. COMET PATH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with LITTLE RED STAR in the running. SCOTTISH ALLY raced detached from the field whilst outpaced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this filly produced a powerful finishing burst and finished on the heels of the placed runners. At the 300m, RUSALKA, which was hanging in from the 400m, had to ease when awkwardly placed on the outside of COMET PATH, which shifted out to continue her run whilst racing greenly in the running. In view of the performance of BEYOND TEMTATION. Trainer Laing was requested to report back on the condition of this filly upon return to the stables. OYSTER BAR was baulked on two separate occasions between the 300m and the 150m. ORLANDA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LITTLE RED STAR raced equipped with a tongue tie.
