SISTER LEE was nervous in the stalls. EVERMORE was stubborn loading. PALACE QUEEN was slow away and lost 1 length. BEYOND TEMTATION was slow away and lost 1 length. TUYUCA was bumped in by TEQUILA MARIA, which jumped in severely. BEYOND TEMTATION had her right fore shoe re-fitted at the start. Thereafter, this filly raced greenly in the running. Apprentice Mphanya reported that he felt something amiss with INAN in the running. EVERMORE, was hanging out from the 250m. In the concluding stages, TEQUILA MARIA shifted in to continue her run. At the 800m, whilst looking for cover EVERMORE, took an awkward stride. After the running of this race, during the weighing in process, Jockey Bogaleboile, the rider of TEQUILA MARIA, weighed back in at more than 0.5kg underweight. Consequently, an objection was lodged by the Clerk of Scales against TEQUILA MARIA. After considering the evidence before the Board, the objection was upheld, TEQUILA MARIA was disqualified from the race. An inquiry will be opened into the above incident. PALACE QUEEN and TUYUCA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. INAN raced with Club colours with the Stipes permission. Vet: TEQUILA MARIA - post-race distress. INAN - fatigued.
