The start of this Race was delayed due to a delay in harrowing the track after Race 2. VENDEE GLOBE and MUTAWAARY (AUS) lost one length. COLDHARDCASH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Dillon, the rider of INTO THE FUTURE, and Jockey Kennedy, the rider of THE KING OF RANDOM, reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in running. Jockey Habib reported that he felt something amiss with DUZI MOON in the pull-up area. Jockey Wright reported VENDEE GLOBE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine INTO THE FUTURE, THE KING OF RANDOM, DUZI MOON and VENDEE GLOBE. COLDHARDCASH raced with a cornell collar. Vet: INTO THE FUTURE and THE KING OF RANDOM - nothing obvious detected. DUZI MOON - not striding out left fore. VENDEE GLOBE - not striding out right hind. MOSHAV - bilateral epistaxis, 60 day suspension. Scratched: MASTER OF FIRE - coughing. DOUBLE ESPRESSO - strained muscle in flank.
