THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MILLER MAN (*S Njokwe) was stubborn to load. Trainer L Denysschen will be advised to re-school this gelding. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) NATIONAL UNITY (S Khumalo) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) LUCRETIUS (R Munger) was baulked for a clear run between the 450m and 300m. c) In the concluding stages, NATIONAL UNITY (S Khumalo) and GUISEPPI'S SONG (W Kennedy) came together and brushed. d) TILMEETH (R Fourie) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. e) In view of the performance MILLER MAN (*S Njokwe), (22.15 lengths, betting 50/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning MURPHY'S STATION, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer D Drier will be advised. (Suspension Dates : 17.08.21 - 15.10.21, bdi). g) Jockey D Dillon signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 66.4 in that as the rider of WITHOUT DOUBT, he weighed in more than 1kg above the weight at which he was declared out. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R1500 was imposed. h) GUISEPPI'S SONG (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Odendaal advised (SC).
