THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CORDOBESA (W Kennedy) was squeezed out shortly after the start. b) DANCING SWORD (K de Melo) was hanging in from the 400m. c) In the concluding stages, KAVIAN'S CARA (W Agrella) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the outside of HOT MONEY (D Dillon), which shifted out away from the crop. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that DANCING SWORD did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of SIBERIAN SUNSET (S Khumalo), (10.75 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) An inquiry will be opened in order to establish why ICE IMPERIAL (S Veale) had to ease in the concluding stages. g) TUPELO HONEY (*R Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
