Jockey Greyling and Jockey Habib did not ride at today's race meeting due to family responsibility. They were replaced on their mounts. SPEED ZONE refused to load and was withdrawn by the Starter. This caused a delay to the start of this Race. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. COURT JESTER lost 1 length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SPEED ZONE, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion on a race day. SPEED ZONE may not be presented for repassing during this period. Approaching the 450m NAMAQUALAND was carried out by PURE STATE,, which shifted out to obtain a clear run. Thereafter PURE STATE shifted in away from the crop at the 150m. TREND MASTER shifted out sharply away from the crop in the concluding stages. AL BORAK was hanging out around the turn. AL BORAK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. NAMAQUALAND raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: NAMAQUALAND - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: INTERGALACTIC STAR - off feed. LEPRECHAUN - abnormal blood count. SPEED ZONE - refused to load.
