THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROSALIE RUNS (F Herholdt) was squeezed out when CELTIC NIGHT (L Mxothwa) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start DO ANGELS CRY (S Mbhele) was squeezed out when tightened for room between LUNAR TUNES (S Khumalo) and HALLOWEEN (*J Jacobs). b) Jockey S Khumalo, the rider of LUNAR TUNES, which raced wide on the bend, reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine c) GREY PRINCESS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Robinson was advised.
