The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. VIBERMATIC was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate of this gelding is withdrawn. GIVEMETHETHUMBSUP was slow away and lost 1 length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to VIBERMATIC, this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the stalls. VIBERMATIC may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with FIRST KNIGHT in the running. At approximately the 300m, GIVEMETHETHUMBSUP had to steady when awkwardly placed between FIRST KNIGHT, which was hanging in, and NICALEX, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. SAROO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NICALEX - abnormal respiratory noise. FIRST KNIGHT - not striding out right fore. Scratching: MARCELLIN - deceased.
