THE STARTER HAD NOP REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TWOSIDESTOASTORY (C Maujean) and LESHAWES (Wes Marwing) came together and brushed on a number of occasions shortly after the start. b) At approximately the 1200m, LESHAWES (Wes Marwing) was carried out by DEEP DIVE (S Brown) which commenced to over-race and proved difficult negotiating the turn. Consequentially, LESHAWES commenced to over-race when the bit slipped to the side of this gelding's mouth. This in turn resulted in LESHAWES racing wide around the turn. c) FLINDERS RANGE (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee P de Palma advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) LESHAWES is a gelding, incorrectly carded (gelded 10 August 2021). THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS.
