THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIDE THE LIGHTNING (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load and restless in the stalls. Trainer G Puller will be advised to re-school this filly. b) SWEET SYMPHONY (S Moodley) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 900m, FIAMETTA (N Patel) which raced greenly in the running, had to ease when awkwardly placed on the inside of FIAMETTA (N Patel) which initially rolled out and thereafter shifted in sharply in reaction to a marginal inward movement by IMMA YA IMMA (*G Pieterse). b) SHIELD MAIDEN (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. c) SWEET SYMPHONY (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
