THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SENTBYDESTINY (R Danielson) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 400m, SILVER TYCOON (L Hewitson) shifted in sharply away from the crop. As a consequence of this, SENTBYDESTINY (R Danielson) had to switch out to avoid running onto the heels of SILVER TYCOON (L Hewitson). b) When questioned regarding his ride on SILVER TYCOON, with particular reference to the pace set by this colt in the early and middles stages of the race, Jockey L Hewitson explained to the Board that in this colt's previous two starts over 1400m, he had raced to the front and had settled quickly in running. In today's race over 1600m, he had once again raced to the front however, SILVER TYCOON had not relaxed in front as he had done in his previous starts. As a consequence of this, he had set a faster pace than he had intended. The Board have adjourned to review this colt's runs on the 19th December 2020 and the 7th August 2021. c) In view of the performance of SILVER TYCOON (L Hewitson), (distance 8,75 lengths, betting 33/20), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) Apprentice P Mxoli reported that HEART STWINGS changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) SAFE PASSAGE (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) BOWIE raced equipped with ear muffs (declared 4 September 2021 at 08H55). b) SENTBYDESTINY raced with a compression mask (declared 4 September 2021 at 09H00). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) SILVER TYCOON not striding out right hind. b) HEART STWINGS examined post race, nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
