THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, LAST CLOUDS (B Nyawo) kicked the back gate resulting in EMERALD FLAME (*C F Dicken) breaking through the front gates. b) BEVOETERD (J Penny) and LAST CLOUDS (B Nyawo) were stubborn loading. c) ARVERNI WARRIOR (C Maujean) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. d) VOLLUTO (Wes Marwing) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, LAST CLOUDS (B Nyawo) became fractious and kicked the back gates. This resulted in EMERALD FLAME (*C F Dicken) pre-empting the start and breaking through the front of the stalls. EMERALD FLAME was restrained by the Rider, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) Shortly after the start, LAST CLOUDS (B Nyawo) was bumped out by ARVERNI WARRIOR (C Maujean), which jumped outwards sharply leaving the stalls. c) Jockey S Brown reported that he felt something amiss with ARLINGTON ACTION in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) FRONTLINE FIGHTER (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, advised (DR). e) VOLLUTO (Wes Marwing), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FRONTLINE FIGHTER was ridden by Jockey M Yeni (declared 9 September 2021 at 11H36).
