THE STARTER REPORTED A) LINGUEE was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificates for this gelding is withdrawn. B) MOUNT GRACE and IMMACULATE were stubborn loading. C) MHLABENI was nervous in the stalls. D) RAIO and FUTURECRAFT were slow into stride. E) LORD ADMIRAL was stubborn loading, slow away and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) RAIO (T M Musekiwa) over-raced in the early stages. B) Leaving the 1200m, MARGARET ERLYNNE (T Gould) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between the inside running rail and MOUNT GRACE (L Bester) which rolled in. C) Jockey L Mxothwa reported that FUTURECRAFT made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and did not persevere with his ride from the 300m. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. D) In view of the performance of RED RULES (C Zackey) (distance 17.75 - betting 10/3) the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LINGUEE (R Fourie), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable to load on terms. Suspension dates: 11 September 2021 to17 September 2021. LINGUEE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer J P Nel was advised. F) The second placed horse LINGUEE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer J P Nel advised (LM).
