THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ONE MORE TRICK (S Khumalo) lost 1 length. b) REGAL MIND (B Jacobson) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, ROY'S COMMAND (A Marcus) shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter, in the concluding stages, this gelding made slight contact when improving through a narrow run on the outside of PROTEA PRIDE (D Dillon) which was hanging out from the 300m. b) In the concluding stages, when racing in close proximity to WINTER ROYALE (G Wright), Jockey L Hewitson (MOUNT ATHOS) had his crop struck from his hand. c) Jockey M V'Rensburg reported that WITHOUT DOUBT did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that KHULUMA NATHI made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
