G) Trainer G D Smith signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate the horse IDEAL VIEW against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. A penalty of a R1000 fine was imposed. H) After the running of this race, Jockey C Maujean was stood down by the Course Medical Officer, after a fall. Rule 25.12 does not apply. Jockey C Maujean is to be examined by the Course Medical Officer prior to his next engagement. I) Trainer T J Laing's attention was drawn to the provisions of Rule 10.5.7 pertaining to MODAKHAR not having raced for 120 days or more at the time of entries.
