THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ONE BITE AT A TIME (A Marcus) was stubborn to load. Trainer Gareth van Zyl was advised to re-school this filly. b) BLACK PEPPERCORN (W Kennedy) and ROYAL OASIS (G Wright) were restless in the stalls. c) LADIES DAY (K de Melo), AERIAL VIEW (S Moodley) and TOP HONOURS (M Yeni) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ONE BITE AT A TIME (A Marcus) was hanging in from the 400m. b) Jockey A Arries reported that MEZZYOONA took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the performance of ROYAL OASIS (G Wright) (12.55 lengths, 33/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) CASA ROSADA (J Gates), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
