THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RECKLESS LOVE (S Brown) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni) and CRYSTAL COVE (T Godden) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) The saddle on TOMBOLA (*K Brewer), which over-raced in the early and middle stages, slipped forward severely in the running. This resulted in Apprentice K Brewer being placed at a disadvantage and rendering him unable to assist this mare in the straight. c) At the 1600m, RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni) which attempted to shift across heels in order to obtain a position towards the inside of the course, became awkwardly placed and clipped the heels of TOMBOLA (*K Brewer). d) RECKLESS LOVE (S Brown) raced wide at the 600m and into the straight. e) At the 600m, the saddle on TO THE MAX (*T Gumede) slipped forward. f) At the 300m, OPENING SHOWER (W Kennedy) which commenced to give ground, was carried out by INDIGO MOON (D Dillon) and was awkwardly placed on the heels of RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni). g) BELL JAR (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) INDIGO MOON was ridden by Jockey D Dillon (advised 29.09.21/7h54). b) RECKLESS LOVE was ridden by Jockey S Brown (advised 29.09.21/7h47). c) TOMBOLA was ridden by Apprentice K Brewer (claiming 4kg) (advised 25.09.21/10h22). d) TO THE MAX was ridden by Apprentice T Gumede (claiming 1.5kg).
