THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GREEN DREAM (E Ngwane) was hanging out between the 400m and 100m. Thereafter, this mare shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. b) Jockey M Yeni (MALVERN) and Jockey D Dillon (KILDONAN BAY) reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the performance of KINGSMEADS KRYSTL (A Marcus) (7.10 lengths, 7/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer A Wright will be requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. d) HAMSA GROVE (M Ntuli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
