THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SACRED VALLEY (W Kennedy) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) STAR AGLOW (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) MARIA'S WORLD (M Yeni) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockeys K Matsunyane (TWICE A MIRACLE) and S Khumalo (BACK TO FORMENTERA) reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. b) MANAAJIM (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M F de Kock advised (GF).
