THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INDUS KNIGHT (W Kennedy) was stubborn loading. Trainer P A Peter was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (PHvdW). b) SCOTTADITO (R Munger) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow losing one length. Trainer C Spies was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (PHvdW). c) BULLETIN (J Mariba) was restless in the stalls and thereafter slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow away, BULLETIN (J Mariba) raced detached from the field throughout. b) A race review was called into the start of this race with regard to BULLETIN (J Mariba) in stall gate 7. The Board, after viewing the patrol films, was satisfied that BULLETIN had not been impeded by the Handler allocated to him and therefore BULLETIN was declared to be a runner. c) In view of the performance of INDUS KNIGHT (W Kennedy), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) WOKONDA (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
