THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey L Hewitson reported BIT OF FUN (L Hewitson) took a number of awkward strides in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) BLUE MOON CITY (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
