THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHITE PALACE (Wes Marwing) and FORT AURORA (C Maujean) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey Wes Marwing reported that he felt something amiss with WHITE PALACE in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) MS FLOWER POWER (*R A Venniker) hung out and thereafter shifted out away from the crop from the 300m. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with COUNTRY FLAME in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MS FLOWER POWER (*R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D N Stenger advised (GF).
