THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AFRICAN SUNRISE (S Khumalo) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to AFRICAN SUNRISE (S Khumalo), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 19.10.21 to the 25.10.21. AFRICAN SUNRISE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W Whitehead was advised. (SL) b) AFRICAN SUNRISE (S Khumalo) raced wide into the first turn. c) NAVAL SECRET (M Yeni) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) In view of the performance of AFRICAN SUNRISE (S Khumalo) (15.70 lengths, 5/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of CRIMSON CAUSEWAY (W Kennedy) (5.90 lengths, 28/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
