THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HEAVEN SENT (K de Melo) and GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*K Brewer) were restless in the stalls. b) SOMEONE EXCITING (*K Strydom) lost 1 length. c) LHASA STAR (S Khumalo) refused to jump. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review was called into the start, pertaining to LHASA STAR (S Khumalo) drawn in stall gate 3 and MOOBHEERA (A Arries) drawn in stall gate 4. In this regard, it was established that, LHASA STAR (S Khumalo) had on its own accord refused to jump and was therefore declared a runner. However, with regard to MOOBHEERA (A Arries), this filly had its head in the adjacent starting stall as the start was effected which resulted in it losing a significant distance. Consequently, MOOBHEERA (A Arries) was declared to be a non-runner. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LHASA STAR (S Khumalo), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 19.10.21 to the 25.10.21. LHASA STAR may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D Moore was advised. (SL) c) VOICE NOTES (T Godden) was hanging in from the 400m. d) CAPRICCIO (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P M Gadsby advised (DA). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) VOICE NOTES was ridden by Jockey T Godden (advised 18.10.21/7h55). b) MATADORA'S PARADE raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 13.10.21/13h38). c) MOOBHEERA raced with a compression mask. d) NOT NOW PUSSYCAT raced with a compression mask.
