THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TWICE A MIRACLE (K Matsunyane) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) MONTBLEU (C Zackey) and SHE'S WINNING (*C F Dicken) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1300m, ANKOLE (*J Solomon) ran onto and clipped the heels of MONTBLEU (C Zackey). b) At approximately the 600m, JANE WILSON (N Klink) which hung out, had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of BY CRIKEY MAN (L Hewitson). c) Jockey L Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with BY CRIKEY MAN in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) DEFINITELY MAYBE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana advised (AH). e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BY CRIKEY MAN and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended from racing for a period of sixty days (60) in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
