THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOT THE GREENLIGHT (B Fayd'Herbe), ELIUD (C Zackey), TERRA DEL FUEGO (D De Gouveia), G G'S DYNASTY (T Godden) and AL MUTHANA (AUS) (S Khumalo) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MALMOOS (G Lerena) hung in from the 500m. b) Jockey S Khumalo the rider of AL MUTHANA (AUS) accidentally dropped his crop at the 350m. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that ELIUD changed stride continuously in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) In view of the performances of GOT THE GREENLIGHT (B Fayd'Herbe) (betting 8/1, distance 5,75 lengths) and MALMOOS (G Lerena), (betting 33/10, distance 5,65 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. e) BINGWA (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
