THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GREEN LIGHT GAL (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. b) SONIC BURST (A Andrews) jumped outwards and made contact with KITTY CAT CHAT (AUS) (A Marcus) resulting in KITTY CAT CHAT (AUS) (A Marcus) being slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 200m BRIANNA (K de Melo) shifted out and had to be straightened. b) In view of the performance of KITTY CAT CHAT (AUS) (A Marcus) (Betting 18/10 ; Distance 7.35) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SONIC BURST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PAW Botha was advised.
