THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHAT A BLIZZARD (R Fourie) was restless in the stalls, was taken out and reloaded. b) SUNLIT PATH (G Cheyne) was restless in the stalls. c) EUROPEANA (S Khumalo) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LITTLE DOE (K de Melo) was unable to secure clear running between the 300m and the 150m. b) Leaving the 100m SEEKING PEACE (R Khathi) was forced to check and made contact with the hindquarters of MA BLACK (A Domeyer) when CHILLY WINTER (K Steyn) shifted out. Jockey K Steyn was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of CHILLY WINTER he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SEEKING PEACE (R Khathi) and MA BLACK (A Domeyer) leaving the 100m. Jockey K Steyn signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. (Dates: 07/11/2021 to 13/11/2021 inclusive) c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding WHAT A BLIZZARD (R Fourie), Trainer SJ Snaith will be advised to have this filly re schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) MA BLACK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
