THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FEARLESS TRIP (D Ashby) jumped outwards. b) GOLDEN DAH (A Domeyer) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In a slow run race ADDERBURY LAKE (GB) (L Mxothwa), which was over racing, raced onto the heels of FEARLESS TRIP (D Ashby) at the 1100m and had to be steadied . OH SO SQUISHY (*T Gumede) which was following, had to be steadied as a consequence. Jockey D Ashby appeared before the Board and was advised to maintain a reasonable pace when trying to obtain an early position. b) GOLDEN DAH (A Domeyer) was difficult and refused to proceed to the start until assisted by a handler, causing a lengthy delay. Trainer C Bass-Robinson will be advised that this filly is suspended indefinitely in terms of Rule 93.2.4 and until such time as she proves tractable proceeding to the start to the satisfaction of the stewards on a race day. c) GOLDEN DAH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised.
