LUMIERE was fractious and broke through the front gate and bolted. MUMTAZ was fractious and proved difficult to load. ROLL IN THE HAY and HILDEGARDE were restless in the stalls. The start of this race was delayed when the advertising boards on top of the starting stalls became loose. These boards had to be removed before the field was loaded. There was a further delay when LUMIERE broke through the front of the stalls and bolted the course. In view of the report from the Starter regarding LUMIERE, Trainer Sands will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as passed tractable. In view of the report from the Starter regarding MUMTAZ, Trainer Snaith will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as passed tractable. TOO CUTE which was hanging in, was eased when awkwardly placed on the heels of CHILLY WINTER while attempting to obtain a clear run. VODKA LIME which was following TOO CUTE was eased for a number of strides. HILDERGARGE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CHILLY WINTER - returned coughing. TOO CUTE - returned coughing. Scratched: LUMIERE - bolted, injured muzzle and was withdrawn.
