THE STARTER REPORTED A) ROYAL WELCOLME dislodged Jockey S Khathi. The starting stall certificate is withdrawn for a period of 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 B) VIVALDA'S SON was stubborn loading, nervous, fly jumped leaving the stalls, was slow away and lost 3 lengths. C) JACKBEQUICK and ON THE WARPATH bumped shortly after the start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) During the loading process ROYAL WELCOME in stall gate (1) reared over badly dislodging Jockey S Khathi. ROYAL WELCOME was subsequently scratched by the Starter in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and suspended for a period of 7 days. ROYAL WELCOME may not be presented for re-certification during this period. Jockey Khathi was attended to immediately by the Course Medical staff. B) QUICK COUNT (K Minnie) raced green. C) The winner ROCK GARDEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM). D) The second placed horse JACKBEQUICK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer G D Smith advised (LM).
