THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUESTION THE STARS (O Noach) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, THE FUTURIST (L Mxothwa) lifted his right front shoe while proceeding to the start which had to be replaced, causing a delay. b) SURJAY (R Khathi) over raced in the early and middle stages. c) At the 200m STEINBECK (R Fourie) shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened. d) THE FUTURIST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
