THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PRINCESS TEA (J Gates) was baulked for a clear run between the 300m and the 200m. Thereafter, this filly switched out to continue its run. b) AERIAL VIEW (S Moodley) was hanging in from the 300m, proving difficult to assist. c) WINTER MELODY (C Zackey) was hanging in from the 300m and was unable to secure clear running until the 250m. d) At the 200m, A FOREIGN AFFAIR (D Dillon) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of FIAMETTA (N Patel) which drifted out between the 300m and 200m. Jockey N Patel appeared before the Board with regard to the above incident, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in races in future. e) Jockey B Jacobson reported that VICTORY VISION did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with MISS QUINCE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer R Hill will be requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this filly on return to the stables. g) In view of the performance of ROTUNDA (T Godden) (1.95 lengths, 9/4 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. h) PRINCESS TEA (J Gates), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Badenhorst advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BALLYGOOD raced equipped with blinkers (advised 11.11.21/15h25). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) FIAMETTA : The ownership should read:- Mr W J van Der Merwe & M J O Racing Stables and the colours are green, green sleeves, white spots, black cuffs, green cap, white spots (SWE - 12.11.21). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) VICTORY VISION : Nothing obvious detected. b) MISS QUINCE : Nothing obvious detected. c) ROTUNDA : Nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
