THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, WAYA YIRE (K de Melo) broke through the front gate of the starting stalls. WAYA YIRE was restrained by the Rider, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana, acting on behalf of Trainer M F de Kock, advised (GT). b) KWAZZI'S LADY (S Khumalo) was stubborn loading. c) AMAZON ORCHID (*P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. d) BROADWAY BABE (N Klink) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MIDNIGHT GEM (D Schwarz) hung out from the 200m. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that FLOWER OF SCOTLAND made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with WHAT GIVES in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to WAYA YIRE, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 19 November 2021 to 25 November 2021. WAYA YIRE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana, acting on behalf of Trainer M F de Kock, advised. f) BIG CITY GIRL (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FEATHER THE NEST was ridden by Jockey K Matsunyane (declared 16 November 2021 at 08H01). b) GREAT DIVA was ridden by Apprentice X Jacobs who claimed a 2,5kg allowance (declared 16 November 2021 at 13H11). c) AMAZON ORCHID was ridden by Apprentice P Mxoli who claimed a 2,5kg allowance (declared 18 November 2021 at 07H48).
