THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) Shortly after the start, Jockey L Mxothwa felt something amiss in DUC D'ORANGE and eased this gelding out of the race. In view of this report, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examined. B) Jockey M V'Rensburg reported that BARBERTON SILVER took no interest in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. C) Jockey S Devoy reported that CHRISTOPHER ROBIN coughed post-race. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. D) In view of the performance of COLORADO SPRINGS (G Cheyne) (distance 12:40 - betting 4/1) the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. D) Jockey M Mjoka signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse PRINCESS OF FIRE. A penalty of a R1000 fine was imposed. E) In view of the Starter's report with regard to DIVINE ODYSSEY (*K Strydom), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the stalls. Suspension dates: 27 November 2021 to 03 December 2021 both days included. DIVINE ODYSSEY may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
