THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CASHEW (W Kennedy) was restless in the stalls. b) WINTER'S DESTINY (E Ngwane), ROY'S DECISION (D De Gouveia) and COSY ROSY (S Brown) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1200m, CRAZY BLUES (A Marcus) took an awkward stride. b) MISS GIBSON (T Godden) raced greenly in the running. c) Jockey S Moodley signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.3, in that as the rider of BANDERILLA, he failed to ride this horse out to the end of the race, to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, thereby prejudicing 5th position. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R2000 was imposed. d) MISS GIBSON (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Govender advised (SC).
