THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUE PLANET (G Lerena) and TWICE GOLDEN (*R Venniker) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, QUERARI'S COWBOY (T Godden) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the outside of TEICHMAN (S Moodley) when both horses attempted to secure the same running line on the outside of the course. b) COMMAND CONTROL (D De Gouveia) and TWICE GOLDEN (*R Venniker) were hanging out in the concluding stages. c) In the concluding stages, BLUE PLANET (G Lerena) and DECORATED (M V'Rensburg) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the inside of QUERARI'S COWBOY (T Godden) which rolled in marginally in reaction to a slight shift in away from the crop by TEICHMAN (S Moodley). d) Jockey S Moodley appeared before the Board with regard to the incident in paragraphs (a) and (c) above and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. e) Jockey K de Melo reported that ARROW'S MARK made an abnormal respiratory noise and this gelding took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of BLUE PLANET (G Lerena) (6.05 lengths, 11/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) COMMAND CONTROL (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S W Humby advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BLUE PLANET raced equipped with blinkers (advised 28.11.21/7h20). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) ARROW'S MARK : Nothing obvious detected. b) BLUE PLANET : Blowing and brush wound right hind. c) TEICHMAN : Returned post-race having cast the left hind shoe. d) QUERARI'S COWBOY : Returned post-race having cast the left hind shoe.
