THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOLD SEASON (K de Melo) lost 5 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GOLD SEASON (K de Melo), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 29.11.21 to the 05.12.21. GOLD SEASON may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer will be advised. (SL) b) LETABA (D De Gouveia) raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. c) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why MR GONZALES (D Dillon) and HAPPY WANDERER (*R Venniker) had to ease at the 1300m and thereafter why the horses CASIMIRO (K Sakayi) and HAPPY WANDERER (*R Venniker) had to ease at the 1100m. d) LORD VARYS (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
