REWRITE THE STARS was slow into stride. GOOD TIMES ROLL jumped outwards carrying QUICKSTEP LADY out. OUR DANCE pulled hard in the early stages and was hanging out on the bend. Jockey Winnaar was unable to assist this filly which resulted in her racing very wide on the bend and into the straight. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine and trainer GS Kotzen was requested to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly. GOOD TIMES ROLL was pulling hard in the early stages and was difficult to restrain. REWRITE THE STARS raced awkwardly on the bend. At the 150m mark, GOOD TIMES ROLL was eased when tightened for galloping room. SILVER TIARA was hanging in in the latter stages. DOUBLE REWARD was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of WHAT A FLIRT in the latter stages. QUICKSTEP LADY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
