THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MY ELOUISE (A Marcus) lost 1 length. b) BUY BACK (*D Geerthsen) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MY ELOUISE (A Marcus) which raced greenly in the running, shifted in away from the crop between the 400m and 300m. b) Between the 200m and 150m, VISION OF WILL (M Yeni) was carried out on 2 occasions by LADIES DAY (K Sayaki) which shifted out away from the crop. A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into the above incident. However, after reviewing the patrol films of the race, he could not be satisfied that, but for the above incident, VISION OF WILL (M Yeni) would have finished ahead of LADIES DAY (K Sakayi). Accordingly, no further action was taken. Jockey K Sakayi appeared before the Board with regard to the above incident and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races. Additionally, Jockey Sakayi was advised that should he shift ground similarly in future, a more severe sanction may follow. c) YATA (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D S Bosch advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) VISION OF WILL raced with a compression mask. b) WINTER JOURNEY raced equipped with blinkers (advised 06.12.21/7h16). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MY ELOUISE : Small cut left nostril. b) MISS QUINCE : Not striding out left front. c) VISION OF WILL : Not striding out right hind. d) MAGICAL ODYSSEY : Post-race distress and lame left front. Vet certificate required prior to re-entry. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
