THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VUITTON (W Kennedy) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BLUE EYES (*K A Brewer), KAPTEIN MARTIENS (M Yeni), WHAT A FLIGHT (R Munger) and TRUE BRIT (C Maujean) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BRIDGE OF SPIES (*J Solomons) and TOUCH OF FATE (A Domeyer) came together and brushed from the 450m. b) WHAT A FLIGHT (R Munger) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. c) MERCER GIRL (F Herholdt) compounded in the concluding stages. d) VUITTON (W Kennedy) hung in the concluding stages. e) Jockey M Yeni reported that KAPTEIN MARTIENS made an abnormal respiratory noise and changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning WHAT A FLIGHT, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority (pending an endoscope report to be submitted to the NHA Veterinary department by 17H30 on the 9th December 2021). Trainer C Binda was advised g) FRONTLINE FIGHTER (*X Jacobs), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
