THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1400m, MONSOON KENNY (J Gates) over-raced in the early and middle stages. As a consequence of this, MONSOON KENNY (J Gates) had to switch out to avoid running onto the heels of DANCE PARTNER (M Yeni). b) RABIA THE REBEL (*J R Syster) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) THIS GENERATION (W Kennedy) raced wide around the turn. d) Apprentice D Schwarz (MISTER BLUE SKY) accidentally dropped his crop after the finish line. e) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with PRINCESS KESH in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) Jockey R Munger reported that EASTERN BELLE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) LAST CHEER (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee P de Palma, acting on behalf of Trainer S J Gray, advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) WALTZING AL was ridden by Jockey C Maujean (declared 11 December 2021 at 14H40).
