THE STARTER REPORTED: a) OYSTER KING (D Schwarz) was slow into stride. b) JUAN CARLOS (R Munger) and RUN AS ONE (M Yeni) were stubborn loading. c) HAVE A GO JO (C Habib), SUPREME DANCE (G Lerena) and QUNETRA (*J R Syster) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. d) WOLFFS WORLD (W Kennedy) and FSQUADRON (S Khumalo) came together and bumped leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of JUAN CARLOS (R Munger), (betting 5/2, distance 12,00 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Trainer A B Fortune was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables. b) SUPREME DANCE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
