THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ELUSIVE SWANN (C Maujean) and WATUSI (*J R Syster) were slow losing one length. b) GROOMEDTOWIN (G Lerena) jumped inwards and GOLDEN TUNE (*K A Brewer) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, LIGHT WARRIOR (*D B Geerthsen) and WATUSI (*J R Syster) were bumped out by GOLDEN TUNE (*K A Brewer) which jumped outwards. b) Jockey C Zackey reported that WILLO'THEWISP did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that FOLLOW MY PATH changed stride continually in running.
